Feroz Khan dies of cancer
NEW DELHI: Renowned Bollywood actor/director Feroz Khan died of cancer on Monday.
Khan, 69, died at his farmhouse in Bangalore at 1:30am after battling cancer for a year.
He made his debut as a supporting actor in 1960 with Didi while his hit films include Qurbani, Janbaaz and Arzoo. His film Aadmi Aur Insaan won him his first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1969.
Khan turned producer/director with Dharmaatma, his first blockbuster hit as a producer, director and actor. He launched his son Fardeen in Prem Agan in 1998. Khan returned to acting after 11 years in 2003 with Janasheen. app
